The Irish Peace Process is a long term effort on the part of many many fine people. Much progress has been made to this point. We are now at an important moment. Gerry Adams is a true hero who has exhibited strength, patience and a tremendous abilitiy to bring together folks of diverse backgrounds. I have followed his remarkable journey over the years. I am sure there are other remarkable people who have also worked to advocate for justice and have worked with their own people to expand their views of the total process. I encourage all involved to see the "big picture" and continue to set high standards for peace and justice and also be able to let go of that in the past we can not change.
